How Your Company Can Get Involved
As an employee, you might have concerns about workplace safety and health and how it relates to your job and the working environment around you.
Speak to your manager about involving the organization in proactive efforts to improve workplace safety and health.
One of the ways your company can get involved is through participation in the outreach work of MySafeWork /Our Youth At Work. They can:
- Attend the Annual Simulcast as one of hundreds of executives speaking to thousands of high school students - all on the same day (April 15th, 2008).
- Have a senior executive visit a local high school with MySafeWork / Our Youth At Work team to speak to the entire student body about workplace safety (including taking their questions live).
- Invite Rob Ellis to tell his story of losing his son in a workplace tragedy to all the employees at your workplace.
- Ask your management to get a hold of the video, We Miss David, that showcases the example of Dave Ellis and the preventable accident that took his life.
